What the course includes
This is an intensive course for beginners with little or no experience.
Over the 2 days you will learn the fundamentals of make up including:
- Skin analysis and skin care
- Face shapes/colour theory (the colour wheel)
- Learning the difference between day and bridal make up
- Wedding day time management
- Tricks and tools of the trade
- How to get the best from your trial
- Colour correction, concealing and foundation theory
- Skin cleanse and application of base make up:-
- Colour correction
- Concealing
- Foundation
- Practical session - Day make up application
- Practical session - Evening make up application
- Including false eyelash application
There will be a short lunch break where we wil provide a selection of sandwiches and refreshments.
Tea and coffee is available throughout the day.
What you will need
You will require a basic make up kit. This should include:-
- Professional Brush set
- 4 foundations
- Concealer
- Corrective palette
- Lipstick palette
- Eye shadow palette
- Classic red lipstick
- Lip pencil
- Lip gloss
- 2 mascaras
- 2 eye pencils
- Blusher
- False lashes
- Full hygiene kit
- Cleanser, Toner, Moisturiser
- Hand steriliser
- Cotton wool
- Brush cleaner

A camera would be useful to take photos of your work if you have one.
