The History of Lovehair

Lovehair was started by Jo Irving in September 2006.

‘Originally it was a way to do what I love doing and spend time with my children but by December in my first year I was fully booked for the following year.

Since then we have expanded the business to cope with the hundreds of enquires we have. We’re now able to offer professional make up and hair to brides all over the UK, by stylists that I consider to be some of the best in the country.’

‘We also provide hair and make-up training courses and lessons to professionals and individuals wanting to learn more about hair styling for weddings or make up application…

Working with the best

‘We don’t just take anyone. We get over 200 applicants a year for a position on the Lovehair team but only a handful get through. I have carefully selected and met every hair and make up artist in our team individually, they have been chosen for their skill as artists and also for their relaxed and friendly nature. So you can rest assured you’re in safe hands.’

The Lovehair bookings team is here for you from the day of you enquiry right up until your wedding day. They will start with sending you a detailed confirmation when you book and they are on hand to answer any questions along the way to make sure you are 100% happy with everything.
