Booking process

T = Booking enquiries can be made via this web pagetelephone or email.

T = Lovehair will supply a quote and confirm availability.

T = To secure the booking, clients must pay a non refundable deposit of £100 The balance is the remainder plus any travel charges

T = Lovehair will provide a booking summary and confirm receipt of the deposit. It is the client’s responsibility to check the booking summary and ensure that Lovehair is notified of any errors within 7 days of receipt. If the client notifies Lovehair of an error after this period, and Lovehair is unable to fulfill the booking, cancellation fees may apply.

T = Please note that the booking is not final until the deposit has been paid in full and Lovehair has confirmed receipt in writing.

Minimum booking

Lovehair requires a minimum of 3 adult clients at a wedding. (One bride and 2 others) A surcharge may apply if there are less than 3 adult clients. The surcharge will be charged at the rate of an additional adult bridesmaid, until the minimum of 3 adult clients is reached.

Jo Irving has a minimum booking of 5 adults May-September. A surcharge may apply if there are less than 5 adult clients. The surcharge will be charged at the rate of an additional adult bridesmaid, until the minimum of 5 adult clients is reached.

Payment

T= The deposit can be paid by credit/debit card and paypal via the website

The trial is payable to the stylist on the day of the trial.

T = The course balance is due 2 weeks before the course date.

The balance is payable the week before the wedding date We do not accept card payments on the wedding day.

The price agreed at the time of booking is final, so if Lovehair’s price list changes it will not affect your agreed rate.

The balance payment of weddings outside of the UK must be paid and cleared before the stylist leaves the country. All booking details, travel and accomodation must be agreed by the bookings team before departure.

All flights and accommodation must be covered and paid for by client and no refunds are given.

In the event of cancellation for any reason the bride will be liable to pay the stylist in full. We strongly suggest taking out wedding insurance for weddings outside the UK.

The stylist cannot be held responsible for travel delays, lost baggage. illness or any act of god resulting In her not getting to the venue on time with the correct kit. Payment will still be required in full.

Cancellation fees

T = If for some reason you cancel your booking, your cancellation must be confirmed by email or telephone.

If a wedding or part of booking is cancelled within 14 days of the wedding date, the balance is required in full. 

T =Your deposit is non refundable

T =Training deposits can be transferred once

T =If you cancel your training course please give at least 48 hours notice.

T = The balance is not refundable but can be transferred

Please note that all changes or cancellations MUST be stated in writing.

Trial.

If a client decides to cancel a wedding booking after a trial, the deposit for any wedding day charges will retained.

The trial and travel money paid to the stylist is completely non refundable.

Lovehair cancellations

In exceptional circumstances a Lovehair stylist may need to cancel a booking. This has never happened before but, if it does all attempts will be made to find an alternative stylist. If this is not possible or is unacceptable to the client, Lovehair will refund 100% of the deposit.

T = If the training course has less than the minimum number of candidates attending, we may need to postpone the course. We strongly recommend travel insurance if booking hotels near by so that you do not lose out.

Lovehair is not responsible for paying for, or refunding travel and accommodation costs.

Changes to bookings

Notification should be given of any changes to the booking and trial as soon as possible. This includes changes to the number of clients, location, dates and times. It is the client’s responsibility to do this as we can not guarantee stylists availability

Changes must be confirmed in writing via email or in person and are not accepted as written notice until you have received a reply from either your stylist or the bookings team. Please do not rely on texts as we do not always receive them. 

Change of trial date – An alternative date will be found. Stylists do not book trials on Saturdays as we are so busy with weddings. If you require a Saturday you will need to agree this with your stylist. 

Sunday trials have a surcharge of £20.00

Changes to those having trials – Any changes made by the bride to a trial must be made in writing 48 hours before the date of the trial.

Change of wedding date – We will do our best to rebook the original stylist for the new date or supply another available stylist. If this is not possible then the usual cancellation fees apply. Please note if you require a second trial you will need to pay the full trial amount.

Change to number of clients or services – A new price will be calculated based on our current price list to reflect any changes in the bridal party. However, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. The deposit and any trial money if paid, will be retained.

Please note that if the change results in the number of adults dropping below the minimum booking – the standard surcharge will apply.  If a wedding or part of booking is cancelled within 14 days of the wedding date, the balance is required in full.

Bookings must be above the minimum booking or the total cost made up to the equivalent amount.

Change of location – We may need to add a travel charge if the location changes. If the getting ready venue needs to be changed during the  morning of the wedding. There may be a charge to cover the time and travel involved in relocating

Miscellaneous terms

Following the  smoking regulations – smoking whilst a stylist is working is not permitted.

Stylists reserve the right to refuse to work if a client is rude or aggressive. In this case the usual cancellation policy will apply.

Sometimes it just isn’t a good fit. In this situation the booking will be cancelled and the trial fee will be retained. Deposits may be refunded but this is left to stylists discreion
